Rebecca’s journey into writing began after the heartbreaking loss of her best friend, Lunar, a beloved black Labrador Retriever. Lunar was more than a pet — she was a constant companion and a cherished member of the family.

Rebecca and her family shared countless moments of love, laughter, and comfort with Lunar, making her absence deeply felt in everyday life.

Driven by a desire to keep Lunar’s memory alive, Rebecca found inspiration in storytelling. Writing became a way to honour the special bond they shared and to transform grief into something meaningful. Through this series of books, Rebecca celebrates Lunar’s spirit, personality, and the joy she brought into their lives, hoping to share that love with other families and children along the way.
